Programmes
Apprenticeships: earn a wage while you train
Structured, employer-led training combining paid work with recognised qualifications.
Earn while you learn
Apprentices are employed and paid a wage from day one, alongside structured off-the-job training.
Employer-led training
Delivered in partnership with construction, engineering, business and care employers across Glasgow and the West of Scotland.
Recognised qualifications
Apprenticeship frameworks map onto SCQF-recognised qualifications valued by UK employers.
How it works
Structured training, real employment
Apprentices split their time between a host employer and college-delivered training blocks, working toward an industry-recognised qualification without stepping away from paid work.
Apprenticeship questions
Apprenticeship places are primarily reserved for UK/Irish nationals and settled residents due to employment law and visa sponsorship requirements. International applicants should instead consider our Diploma pathway, which includes an equivalent paid placement year.
International applicants
Looking for the international route into a UK career?
Our Diploma pathways include a paid placement year and are built for international students.
