International Students
Practical UK training, in twelve weeks
Our programmes are built for international participants aged 18–45 who want hands-on skills and the experience of studying in the UK. Everything is arranged around a single 12-week visit.
A short, practical programme with the details handled
Twelve weeks of in-person training in Glasgow, with accommodation arranged for the full course.
Small class sizes
Groups are kept small so every participant gets time at the bench and direct attention from the tutor.
Practical workshops
Most of your week is spent doing the work, not watching it — in workshops equipped to UK industry standards.
UK learning experience
Twelve weeks of in-person training in Glasgow, taught by tutors who have worked in the trade they teach.
Completion certificate
Every participant who completes the programme receives a John Wheatley College certificate of completion.

Successful applicants receive an official course offer letter and supporting enrolment documents that may be used in a Standard Visitor visa application for short-term study in the UK.
