Overview

Automotive courses focused on vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and modern automotive technologies. Training runs for 12 weeks at our Glasgow campus, in small groups, with most of each week spent on practical work rather than in a lecture room. Participants who complete the programme receive a John Wheatley College certificate of completion.

Typical practical activities

What a week in the workshop actually looks like.

  • Servicing and inspection on training vehicles
  • Brake, suspension and tyre work
  • Diagnostic equipment on live faults
  • Workshop housekeeping and safe jacking
